Performance Exhaust Pipe Installation |

Let's get busy, you will love this: 1. Set your scooter on the center stand. 2. Remove the two header nuts from the exhaust stud bolts at the cylinder head Fig 1. 3. Remove the bolts that hold the stock muffler Fig 2. 4. You should now be able to remove the entire old system. 5. Bolt the new mounting bracket to the motor mounts Fig 3. 6. Take your new performance exhaust out the box, attach the header to the muffler depending on the type, with the screws provided or just the connecting spring. 7. Slide the new exhaust system into place, be sure that the exhaust gasket is still in place, or purchase a new one. 8. Hand tighten the head bolts, slide the muffler mounting band with rubber spacer around the muffler and attach to the swing arm with the original bolts (this is if you have two shock absorbers), if your scooter only has one shock absorber (single side swing arm) then use the mounting bracket with the three holes provided in you kit. 9. Go back and tighten the header bolts, be careful not to over tighten them, and tighten the rest of the bolts. 10. We do recommend installing a UNI air filter and re jetting the carburetor as well. Congratulations, you have installed your new performance pipe! |
