Coil Installation

Let's locate the Coil:
1. On most scooters the coil will be located in the engine compartment. On buggies, it will be located in the electric compartment box, or screwed to the frame on top of the engine.
2. To access the engine compartment, lift the seat and remove the storage compartment.
3. The coil is normally located against the frame.
4. Once you have located the coil, unplug the two wires at the back of the coil, as well as unplug the coil from the spark plug.
5. Make sure your key is off before you unplug and install the new coil.
6. Plug the two power wires into the back of the new coil, making sure you plug the correct color wire into the correct side of the coil. Plug the spark plug cap onto the spark plug, and secure the coil.
7. Replace the storage compartment, and you should be ready to ride.
